1. The service

USC (usc.ro) is an educational platform for quizzes, polls and interactive exercises used in class. It is operated by Asociatia Literati (Republicii 202, Comarnic, Prahova, CUI 18855907), "the operator". Use is free of charge.

2. Who can use it

Teachers receive an account from an administrator and log in with their email address and a code sent by email. Students can take part by entering the code shown in class, without an account, or create an account with their email address to keep their results. People under 16 create an account only with the agreement of a parent or guardian; taking part without an account, under a nickname, is always possible.

3. Acceptable use

Use a decent name or nickname and do not impersonate anyone.
Do not submit offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content, or other people's personal data, in your answers (word clouds, open questions).
Upload only your own files: homework you made yourself and, when the teacher asks for an attendance photo, a photo of yourself. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent, or inappropriate content.
Do not try to disrupt the platform, access other people's accounts or automate the sending of answers.
Teachers are responsible for the content of their quizzes and for how they use their students' results, in line with their institution's rules. They publish only study materials they have the right to share with their students.

4. Content

Teachers keep the rights to the questions and materials they create and allow the operator to store and display them solely to run the service. Participants' answers are visible to the teacher who created the quiz and, in aggregate form, to the class during the presentation.

5. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the platform. The operator may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Personal data and cookies

How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy, and cookies in the Cookie Policy.

7. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the current version is published on this page. Romanian law applies. Questions: contact@literati.ro.

Delete your account

Students with an account can delete it at any time. Your email address, your name in quiz results and the files you uploaded are removed.
